Alice and John’s wedding took place at a luxury resort in Elounda, centered around a traditional whitewashed chapel overlooking the sea. For the ceremony in the stone courtyard, wooden cross-back chairs were arranged facing the entrance, with white lace parasols provided for guests to shade from the sun. The chapel’s stone doorway was framed by minimalist white plinths holding lush, organic floral arrangements in soft, romantic tones, where the bride’s brother officiated the ceremony.
Following a petal toss exit, the couple took golden hour portraits through the resort’s stone archways and along the waterfront lawn. The dinner setting featured a sculptural, contemporary design balancing modern minimalism with organic Cretan textures. Low table arrangements paired green and white anthuriums with smooth river stones, local green citrus, and pillar candles in glass cylinders, while each place setting was finished with personalized typography menus and a fresh olive sprig.
The reception began with an energetic entrance to Daft Punk as guests waved dinner napkins, leading into a family-style Greek feast and heartfelt speeches. As night fell, the celebration moved to the dance floor for the cake cutting and first dance, followed by a bridal outfit change, a prosecco tower poured to “Murder on the Dancefloor,” and late-night dancing with traditional Greek sweets.
