For Yvonna and Bryce, a US-based couple honoring Yvonna’s Greek roots, we curated a three-day wedding celebration at a luxury 5-star resort in Elounda.
The weekend opened with an elegant welcome dinner at the resort’s Italian restaurant. Surrounded by abundant candlelight, refined stationery, and florals designed to match the surrounding architecture, guests enjoyed gourmet Italian cuisine accompanied by an intimate live performance from London and US-based artist Luke Burr.
On the wedding day, the couple exchanged vows in a traditional Orthodox ceremony at a coastal white chapel, with a majestic tree standing beside it and sweeping sea views. A lush floral arch of greenery and white and green blooms framed the church entrance, complementing the classic architecture, while wooden cross-back chairs lined the stone courtyard. The bride looked radiant in a strapless gown, carrying a sleek bouquet of calla lilies, accompanied by the groom in a stylish light blue suit.
Just steps away, the reception took place at a lower-level waterfront restaurant directly by the sea. The tables were styled with crisp white linens, low green and white floral arrangements, and soft candle glow. Personal creative touches by Yvonna brought unique charm to the design—from lace-accented menus to a custom seating chart where guest lists were tucked inside potted hydrangeas representing each table. Guests enjoyed a Greek family-style dinner, emotional special dances, vibrant traditional Greek dancing, and an energetic after-party with a DJ and live saxophonist.
To close out the weekend, guests gathered on a spacious beachfront lawn with direct access to the sandy shore for a relaxed recovery brunch by the sea.
